Teen Dies In Baton Rouge Car Crash

A 16-year-old boy is dead following a crash in East Baton Rouge Parish. Police say the crash happened Friday evening when Philip Abbington tried to take a left turn onto Highway 37, taking him into the path of a pickup truck. The truck stuck Abbington's car, pushing it into a ditch. Abbington was pronounced dead at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
