Teen Girl Arrested In Eunice Stabbing

Eunice Police say a 17-year-old girl was visiting a friend in the 700 block of Lewis Street when a vehicle pulled up with two females. Police say a 16-year-old girl then got out and began stabbing the 17-year-old in the left arm, left shoulder and throat.

After leaving the victim with a 5-inch slash across her throat, police say the 16-year-old went on Facebook and updated her status by bragging about the incident. Officers then told her mother what was happening, and her mother turned her in.

The victim has since been released from the hospital. Police say the victim is now dating a boy that the 16-year-old girl used to date. She now faces Attempted Murder charges.
