Teen Killed In DeSoto Parish Wreck

STONEWALL, La. (AP) — State police say a Stonewall teenager was killed in a single vehicle crash.

The Times reports (http://bit.ly/IF6uhG ) the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. Sunday on Linwood Ave. north of La. Highway 3276.

Troopers say a car driven by 18-year-old Jacob A. Meshell ran off the road and hit an embankment.

Investigators say Meshell was not wearing his seatbelt and was partially ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
