Two teenagers have been arrested following an investigation into two Assumption and St. Martin Parish hunting camps that were burglarized.

Brett Hebert, 18, of Pierre Part, and a 13-year-old juvenile were arrested and booked by both the Assumption and St. Martin Parishes' Sheriff's departments for breaking into and burglarizing two camps that are located one mile apart on Bayou Natchez in Belle River.

Investigators are also waiting on a report from the state fire marshal's office stating the cause of a fire at another camp on Bayou Natchez that was reduced to ashes only an hour before the burglaries were reported.

Hebert was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center for two counts of simple burglary and one count of contributing to the cause of a juvenile.
