Today on 'Mornings With Ken & Bernie'  LUS Fiber Director Terry Huval said LUS Fiber is seeing some profits but not enough yet.

Huval stated in a Lafayette Consolidated Government meeting that he expects for the government run company to be seeing major profits by 2015, and as much as $1.1 million in cash flow by October.  According to Huval,

"We are doing great.  We've achieved a huge milestone in just the last several months where we've taken this business where we started serving new customers just three years ago and have gotten to the point to where we are making enough money to pay our debt service each month and our operational costs."

Huval said that the local government run business is earning money that stays in the community instead of being funneled to corporate headquarters in other parts of the country.
