Thanksgiving Day Fire Destroys Mobile Home

A Lafayette man is thankful to be alive after a fire destroyed his home yesterday. Fire investigators say the mobile home on Ambassador Caffery Parkway went up in flames yesterday evening, completely destroying it and causing damage to two nearby homes. Fortunately, the homeowner was at Thanksgiving dinner when the fire started. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
