The Angel Channel Set To Start Filming In Crowley

'The Angel Channel' is a full length feature film that will start filming in Crowley, Louisiana this fall.  Today on 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' Sheri Myers of Sheridan Productions and Charlotte Jeffers the Crowley Tourism Coordinator invited the listening audience to a big open house of the production facility in Crowley tomorrow (Saturday 9/8/12).

The open house will be an introduction of the facility to the community and an opportunity for locals to get more information on participating in the movie.  The movie will feature New Orleans singer Irma Thomas and blues guitarist/singer Tab Benoit in two of the leading roles.

Myers said,

"I was told by a friend to check out Crowley, Louisiana if ever I was in the area and it's as if I was led there from New Orleans while following three trucks on I-10 with the word "Crowley" emblazoned on them.  Once I got to Crowley I fell in love with the town because it reminds me of my hometown in Ohio.  It will be the perfect setting for 'The Angel Channel'."
