The First Flu Case In Louisiana This Season
The LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport confirms two cases of the flu in children. The children were unrelated, and are being treated. Dr. John Vanchiere of the Center says that Louisiana usually doesn’t see it’s first flu outbreak until Thanksgiving. He also reminds everyone to make sure to get their flu shots and to play it safe.
