The Sonic Christmas Parade Featuring Veterans Happens This Sunday

This Sunday afternoon's Sonic Christmas Parade will highlight, not only Santa Claus, but all of Acadiana's veterans according to Gary Wilkerson with Sonic.

This year is all about the veterans in Acadiana as KPEL celebrates with Sonic and our other sisters stations in bringing Santa, his elves, helpers, band and floats to Lafayette this Sunday afternoon starting at 1 p.m.

Wilkerson says while thinking about this year's parade, he was sad that we don't have a parade honoring veterans and that is whent he idea was born.
