Vermilion Police Arrest Man for Pot Possession

The Vermilion Municipal Narcotics Task Force arrests one for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Task force agents say they were tipped off that two people were riding around basically taking drug orders from people on the streets, then returning to a home to pick up the requests, then completing the transactions.

Police stopped the car that Chris Samuels and Brice Nunez were in, and they say that's when Nunez took off on foot being caught after a chase and fight with an officer.  Agents says they found marijuana on Nunez and the car he was riding in.  They later searched the home in question where they say they found larger amounts of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money.
