The officials with Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers are asking residents to really keep a look out and to report any suspicious activity in and around crawfish ponds.

According to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson, investigators have multiple investigations going on now after complaints of people stealing crawfish both day and night.

You can give a tip to the Crime Stoppers line at 789-TIPS that helps police catch the people stealing this valuable commodity, and you can remain anonymous at the same time.

While several arrests have already been made, Crime Stoppers officials say they want to put a stop to anyone doing this, and the calls about theft just keep coming in.

Again, all callers don't have to give their name, and you might get up to a $1,000 when someone is caught.
