Theriot To Introduce TIF ordinance

Lafayette councilman William Theriot plans on introducing an ordinance that would close a loophole that allows local government to create taxing districts.  Theriot says his proposal would eliminate any chance of TIFs being put on a council agenda in the first place.  The proposal would not affect any pre -existing Taxing districts.
