The 7200 block of the Church Point Highway is where you would have seen many deputies from Acadia Parish yesterday afternoon.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson says that officers were there to search the premises, and they found plenty of work to keep them busy after everything they found.

Three people, Gerry Lasseigne Jr., Heath Habetz and Cassie Granger, were all arrested after officers began their search.

Sheriff Gibson says,

"The search was in regards to an open investigation of stolen property. The search led to the recovery of a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle, illegal firearms, and illegal drugs".

Gerry Lasseigne Jr. from Carencro has been charged with possession of stolen property.
