Three Broussard People Arrested In Drug Bust

A month-long investigation ends in a huge drug bust. Captain Ted Vincent with the Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force says agents arrested three people and seized about $43,000 worth of marijuana yesterday. Vincent says agents also found almost $7,500, items used to make and distribute the drugs, Various Rx tablets and a firearm. Michael Girouard II, Tracie Girouard and Michael Saucier, all of Broussard, are now behind bars on drug charges. Michael Girouard is also charged with having the gun and the money.
