Three teens from Crowley have been arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle which happened during the early morning hours of Monday, August 5th.

Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson states, "We received a call from the victim stating that his vehicle was missing from his driveway. As our officers were filing the report with the victim, we received information that the vehicle was near the area of Duson Park”.

Officers quickly found the car in that area, and the suspects led them on a pursuit.

Gibson says, "Officers were able to take all occupants into custody at the scene". The pursuit ended near the Highway 90 bridge between Crowley and Rayne.

17-year-old Gregory K. Winbush was booked in the Acadia Parish jail on the following charges:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Aggravated flight
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession with intent to distribute marijuana

17-year-old Rondell Ledet was booked on the following charges:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Resisting arrest
  • Resisting arrest by failure to identify

A 16-year-old was also arrested and charged with:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Resisting Arrest by flight
