Three Inmates Try To Bring Contraband Into Alexandria Prison
Three Rapides Parish Detention Center inmates tried to sneak some contraband including marijuana, synthetic marijuana and tobacco products into the prison.
Shawn Layne Sonnier, Jesse Monroe Griffin III, and Jeff Thomas Patterson Jr. were all arrested after a search of Patterson and further investigation.
Patterson was the primary inmate trying to get the materials into the prison because he was on a work release.
