DONETSK, Ukraine (AP) — There's word of more shelling in eastern Ukraine.

The Donetsk City Council says three people were killed and five wounded, as government forces tighten their grip on the pro-Russian rebel stronghold.

The council says several residential buildings had been damaged in a neighborhood about 4 miles from the city's central square.

Meanwhile, fears of Russian intervention are growing.

Western leaders have accused Russia of massing troops on the border with Ukraine.
