EUNICE, La. (KPEL) -- Three men from Lafayette were arrested in Eunice Monday afternoon after selling cocaine to an undercover narcotics officer.

According to Deputy Chief Varden Guillory with the Eunice Police Department, officers placed a call to 22-year-old Trevor Pradier, a known drug dealer, and ordered $450 worth of cocaine.

Trevor and two other men, 33-year-old Phillip Bernard and 31-year-old Nathan George, made the trip from Lafayette to a predetermined location in Eunice where the cocaine was dropped off and paid for, Guillory said.

A few minutes later, the three were pulled over for a traffic violation, and they were taken into custody on the drug charges, Guillory said.

All phases of the transaction, including the phone call to place the order and the purchase of the drugs, were recorded by audio and video surveillance, Guillory said.

Pradier, Bernard, and George were booked into the Eunice City Jail. Bernard and Praider bonded out Wednesday morning.
