Three People Arrested After Thursday’s Car Chase

The Jeanerette Police Department was chasing a vehicle yesterday after they say the three men in the car attempted carjacking another vehicle at a local business.

Shots were fire, but no one was hurt.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reports that 23-year-old Darian Bridget of Patterson, 24-year-old Kurwin Webb Jr. Of Morgan City and 30-year-old Courtland Fullwood of Morgan City were all arrested in connection with the case.

Deputies were led on a chase by the men in this car through Franklin to Burns Points were they crashed the car.

All three fled on foot, but they were later captured.

Officials say there was evidence found in the car that connects all three of them to the case.

All three of the men were charged for aggravated flight from an officer and resisting arrest while Fullwood was additional charged for crimes related to outstanding warrants.
