Throwback Thursday – KPEL’s Egg Pacque Tournament (Video)
Pacqueing eggs. An Easter tradition that has been prevalent in South Louisiana for many years.
As a child, I remember one of the most fun things about Easter was taking on my Paw-paw in the game of egg pacque, or egg pocking.
Of course, as a child, my victories in the sport against him were rare. It's as if he knew exactly the egg to pick to beat me (And, no, he wasn't using plastic eggs!)
Three years ago, the KPEL crew decided to have a little fun and have a tournament of our own!
The competition was stiff once again for me as I had to go up against Ken's "Terminator" egg and Bernie's "Blue Steele."
Watch the video below, and yes, you can feel free to laugh at us!
