Three Thursday night games kickoff the final regular season week of high school football action around Acadiana.

In a District 5-3A contest, Church Point will play host to Port Barre.

These teams are going in opposite directions, as Church Point is 7-1, overall, and one win away from claiming the outright district title, wit an undefeated 6-0 mark, while Port Barre is still winless at 0-9, overall, and 0-6 in district play.

In another District 5-3A affair, Pine Prairie will travel to face Crowley.

Pine Prairie is 3-6, overall, and 2-4 in district play, while Crowley will enter the match-up at 5-4, and 3-3, respectively.

Finally, in a District 7-1A contest, Vermilion Catholic will be on the road to meet Central Catholic.

Vermilion Catholic, who is 7-2, overall, will be looking to clinch the regular season district championship, with a 5-0 mark, while Central Catholic is currently 5-4, and 4-1, respectively, and will be vying for a share of the district crown.
