The calendar may not say it's summer yet, but the thermometer does. It can be hard to sleep in the summer heat. There are several things you can do to enhance your sleep in the summer months.

#1: Turn your thermostat down before retiring. Research indicates we sleep best when the bedroom temperature is in the mid 60s.

#2 Don't have A/C? Put a bowl of ice in front of a fan.

#3 Sleep on cotton sheets. They "breathe" better than satin, or polyester.

#4 use your ceiling fan.

#5 Swap out your winter comforter, or duvet, for a lighter weight summer one.
