Tobacco Money To Fund TOPS

At the Statehouse, the House Appropriations Committee approved legislation yesterday that would permit tobacco settlement money to be used to help fund Louisiana's TOPS college scholarship program.  Governor Bobby Jindal testified in favor of the two proposed bills that now head to the full House for consideration.
