Tomorrow Last Day To Register For 7th Annual Jeep Jaunt

JC from our sister-station KTDY joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to remind everyone that tomorrow is the last day to pre-register for the 7th annual 'Jeep Jaunt'.  Registration before close of business tomorrow will cost you $20 instead of $25 after the deadline or the day of the event.  Each year a convoy of Jeeps and other four-wheel drive vehicles travels from the Celebrity Theater in Broussard down LA 182 and LA 87 to Cypress Bayou Casino for great food, music and an auction.

According to JC,

Since the inaugural 'Jeep Jaunt' we've raised $250,000 for the American Lung Association in honor of my mother who was an asthmatic who passed away in 2004.

 

When we asked JC about attendance he said,

Last year we had three hundred vehicles with over eight hundred people.  So far this year we have 260 vehicles registered so might have record breaking numbers this year.
