Tonight Is The Lafayette ‘Night Out Against Crime’

Tonight is the night for the Lafayette 'Night Out Against Crime' . This FREE event will take place at the Girard Park Pavillion from 5:30 - 7:00.

Events will include live music, games, displays from the Lafayette Fire Department, Lafayette Sheriff's Office, Lafayette Police Department SWAT Team, Horse Patrol, Motorcycle Unit, Bicycle Patrol and the Police Command Bus.

Food and drink will be provided by Dominos, Coca-Cola and ice-cream from Blue Bell.

This event is part of the national "Annual National Night Out," which is the nation's largest annual crime prevention event that includes participation by over 37 million people from all 50 states. The point of the event is to heighten awareness of crime and drug prevention.
