In this edition of "Not Necessarily The News," Tootie Landry goes on another one of her exotic trips.

"Hey! I'm Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today!

With all the trouble Carnival has been experiencing, I thought I would take a cruise to see what the fuss is all about. I LOVE adventure so this seemed like the vacation for me!

So last week I purchased my ticket and boarded a ship in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We sailed to what I like to call the "Catholic Islands" of St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Thomas and Maarten.

As soon as we left the docks, I checked in at Guest Services. I love messing with people! I told them I was from KPEL 96.5 FM in Lafayette, Louisiana, and I was on board to do a Commentary on Carnival. She looked at me like I was CRAZY! I chalked it up to her being from Bosnia.  Ok, they probably don't listen to KPEL over there, and they probably don't know me!

Now I'm on a mission to find the Captain. Where do they hide a guy like him? Lucky for us, he wasn't in the disco! I found him on the elevator. He assured me the ship was fine, the toilets were working and there was really no need for me to take my bed sheets on deck to make a tent!

And finally, my trip was not without adventure! Instead of it being the ship, it was the Airline that took 23 hours to get me home! And that was without any peanuts or pretzels!!!
