"Hey! I’m Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today! Now that the warmer weather is here, I can’t help but notice all the tattoos I’ve been seeing. At this point, I’m thinking… I get pedicures so “tats” aren’t really that different. Maybe it’s like going to the makeup counter at Macy’s!

After deciding on Ink Gallery, I drove on over to 8th street. Upon entering, I knew I may be in over my head on this one! I’m still thinking about getting a tattoo at this point, until I met some artists with names like Smash, Stifler, and Omega!

They huddled around me and asked me, “Surely you want something religious?!” I’m kind of starting to fit in now, but it’s so confusing! They are showing me over 7500 different “tats” to pick from a flash rack. Some were even women that failed to put their bathing suit tops on!

I can’t help myself! I’m trying to ignore the artist with 8 piercings on his head. So I asked him, “Did you fall into a tackle box?” Unamused he replied, “Dude, I don’t even fish.”

Apparently, some of the local celebrities in town have gotten inked up here. They were the ones picked to autograph the famous wall in this studio. Wow! Was I surprised to see names like Jeremy Lawrence, Sharon Moss, Tracey Wirtz, and Rob Perillo… Just kidding! After the owner assured me my name would never make the wall, I decided on a pedicure instead! And I’m Tootie Landry and this is “Not Necessarily the News!”
