Tootie Landry conquers the paranormal - sort of - in this edition of "Not Necessarily The News".

"Hey! I’m Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today! Last week I was invited to tag along with the Louisiana State Paranormal Research Society. Their mission that day - to scientifically prove the existence of a ghost in someone’s home. I’ve never given much thought into ghosts, spirits, or aliens for that matter, but hey, anything is possible!

The research team is composed of 10 people led by a lady with 20 years of experience named Bernadine.

I’ve seen the movies “Poltergeist” and “Casper” so I’ll admit, before walking into the house I did my sign of the cross and said my prayers, just for good measure. I just wish they would have picked the daytime for this! This lights out, nighttime investigation is not for the faint of heart! The family has been living in this house terrified because of unexplained recent events.

I witnessed lights going on and off for no apparent reason, furniture being moved and voices from the unknown. Being a Ghostbuster was never on my Bucket List!

And finally, before they could finish their invite for the next investigation, I was out of there faster than Clark Kent in a phone booth.

And I’m Tootie Landry and this is “Not Necessarily the News!”
