‘Touch A Truck’ This Weekend

"Touch A Truck" takes place this weekend, September 22, 2018 from 10 AM until 4 PM at Bayou Church on Kaliste Saloom in Lafayette.

This event allows children to get behind the wheel of all kinds of big machines! Fire truck, tow truck, ambulance, even a bulldozer!

There will be a "quiet hour" between 10 and 11 AM to allow children who are sensitive to noise a chance to visit the big machines. After 11 AM, some of the machines will be operating their sirens and other "get out of the way" devices so that the kids can get the real feel of being part of the action!

Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite, and are only $5 per person. Gate sales will start at 10 AM on the day of the event.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Komen Acadiana.
