We here at Townsquare Media Lafayette lost a good friend of our's this week, Luis "Taco" Flores, and now we look back on the life of the "Big Guy."

Taco, as many of you many know him as, worked for at Cumulus Media here in Lafayette for several years. Specifically, Taco was a fixture at 94.5 KSMB. Taco was the guy who set everything up for radio stations when they were out on location and was also the face of the  "Giant Jam Box" for KSMB. You may also recognize Taco from the Cajundome, Cajun Field, and from various nightclubs around Lafayette.

Our friend lost his short battle to cancer early this week and upon hearing the news we decided to sit-down and look back on the life of Luis "Taco" Flores." Some of us here at TownSquare Media were fortunate enough to work with Taco, we were all blessed to call him our friend.

We have teamed-up with several other radio stations in the Lafayette radio market to host an event November 25th at Nitetown, in downtown Lafayette. The event is to help with recent medical bills and to create a monetary fund for his kids. There will be live entertainment on stage that night and several door prizes will be up for bid. We hope you'd join us the night before Thanksgiving.

We produced this video in hopes that it gives you better indication as to who Taco was. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

We lost one of the "good guys."
