Tracy Porter Helps Port Allen Family In Need
One Saints player is giving back to his hometown. During a Thanksgiving dinner he was holding for the residents of Port Allen, Saints Cornerback Tracy Porter heard about one area family that had lost everyting in a fire last month. So he decided to adopt the family for the holidays and help them out. The family had found a rental home, but had no furniture or basic household items. They were sleeping on the floor and on air mattresses. So Porter spent yesterday, his only day off this week, hauling in furniture he bought for them. Porter says he now plans to adopt a family every Christmas.
