Traffic Shift For US 90 Planned For Saturday

According to the Dept. of Transportation and Development work will begin this Saturday (10/11/14) to shift US 90 southbound traffic from Celebrity Drive and Albertson Parkway in Broussard to recently constructed temporary lanes in the median. Traffic will be restricted to one lane Sunday (10/12/14) between 8:00pm and 6:00am.

Following the lane shift, two US 90 southbound lanes will be open, but lane widths will be reduced to 11 feet. Oversized loads will not be permitted. Emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the area.

The planned work is weather dependent and may have to be rescheduled.
