Mathew D. Hadley of Carencro may have been pulled over for illegal window tint, but it's the drugs allegedly found in his vehicle that has him in big trouble with the law.

Major Eddie Thibodeaux with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped Hadley's truck as he was traveling on Highway 190. Once they pulled him over, they discovered he had an outstanding arrest warrant for simple battery and other traffic related warrants out of St. Landry Parish. Then, detectives say they found about $1,200 worth of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and Marijuana.

"Our Highway Interdiction Team patrols St. Landry Parish highways to combat the flow of illegal drugs and to arrest criminals on our roadways," states Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. "We have a zero tolerance for transporting drugs in and out of our parish. Anyone with drug information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS or the St. Landry Parish drug hotline at 337-948-0970."
