Fox News Commentator Todd Starnes joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and explained that a long standing tradition is being threatened by PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals).  For many years folks in Brasstown, North Carolina have celebrated the New Year by capturing a possum, placing it in plexiglass box and lowering it from a tree at midnight on New Year's Eve.  PETA claimed this practice was cruel and unusual treatment of the animal and Judge Fred Morrison agreed.  Morrison has ruled that a stuffed possum or "road kill" possum must be used.
