Tropical Storm Claudette Poses No Threat To U.S.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Tropical Storm Claudette has formed in the Atlantic Ocean but poses no threat to the United States. Claudette is reported to be centered approximately 290 miles south-southeast of Nantucket, Massachusetts and moving towards the northeast at 15 mph. Even with highest sustained winds being clocked at 50 mph Claudette is expected to begin weakening by Tuesday morning.
