Trump Says He Will Leave Business To Focus On Presidency
President-elect Donald Trump vowed to remove himself from his business before he takes office in January. In a series of tweets, Trump says he will hand over control of the Trump Organization to his adult children. Trump said he is doing so, "in order to fully focus on running the country in order to make America great again."
Since his election, there have been questions about potential conflicts of interest for the new President, but Trump seems to have his plans in order. The transition team has announced a December 15th press conference to address any lingering questions on the issue.
Legal documents are reportedly being drafted to take him completely out of business operations. According to CNN, Trump claimed. "The Presidency is a far more important task!"
