Two Suspects Involved In String Of Burglaries Caught Robbing Home In Rayne
Two men accused in multiple burgluries were caught in the act today. Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department Spokesperson Maxine Trahan says Joseph Duplechain and Jeremy Mouton, both of Rayne were caught while robbing a house in the city. Trahan says, following an investigation, detectives learned that Duplechain and Mouton were possibly responsible for 3 burglaries yesterday in Rayne. She says they met with the homeowners and verified that. Trahan says the two men could also be connected to more than 30 burglaries in three different parishes.
