Two Arrested After Iberia Parish Business Burglary
Investigators with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office say they were able to arrested two people in connection with a business burglary that happened Thursday of last week.
The business in the 3400 block of NorthSide Road in New Iberia had about $6,000 worth of inventory and air-conditioning unit taken from their company.
As detectives continued to investigate the case, they were able to identify the two people seen on surveillance video, and 19-year-old Shay Lacour of New Iberia along with a 16-year-old male were arrested.
Police say a majority of the stolen property was found.
Lacour has been charged with:
Simple burglary
Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
The 16-year-old juvenile was charged with simple burglary, issued a summons and then released into the custody of his parents.
