Two Arrested In Iberia Parish For Child Cruelty

23 year old Carleen Williams and 17 year old Erica Harding of New Iberia are charged with child cruelty in regards to treatment of Williams' one year old son. A complaint received by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's office started the investigation revealing that a one year old was allegedly placed in a deep freezer for a period of time.

The child had no other apparent injuries and has been placed with other family members while the investigation continues. The matter is also being investigated by the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.
