Two people were arrested in St. Mary Parish after a joint investigation with the Baldwin Police Department.

A business in Baldwin had multiple items stolen from their property including a very large amount of copper wiring and aluminum conduit.

The two agencies teamed up to arrest 25-year-old Tyler Dantin and 25-year-old Tris Madison both of whom are from Baldwin.

Madison was arrested for theft while Dantin was arrested for principal to theft.

Both Madison and Dantin walked into the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Wednesday morning stating that they wanted to tern themselves in because there were warrants out for their arrest.

Both were booked into the jail. Madison's bail was set at $18,000 and Danton was released on a $5,000 bond.
