The St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division K-9 unit saw one car traveling too closely to another car on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista, and the officer pulled over the driver.

Permission was given by the driver, 28-year-old Gatchary Forth of New Jersey, to search the car, and while that was happening another deputy saw officer 36-year-old Albert Mujaj of New York attempt to throw away Suboxone under a police car.

Deputies say at first, Mujaj gave deputies a fake name.

As the search of the car continued, deputies found 9 fake driver's licenses along with 8 fake insurance cards in the car.

One deputy also found money transaction receipts with one of the fake driver's license names on it.

Forth was booked on charges of:

Mujaj was booked on the following charges:

  • Possession of Schedule III narcotics (Suboxone)

Both men were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail.
