Two Arrests In Cecilia Shooting

Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's office investigated a shooting in the Cecilia area at 5:00pm Monday. It was learned during the course of the investigation that two men were riding in a vehicle when shots were fired at the vehicle by two men. Information from the investigation led to warrants being issued for the two shooters. 18 year old Carl Noel of Lafayette was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted second murder and his bond was set at $500,000. The other shooter, a juvenile was charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder and taken to the Lafayette Detention Center.
