Two Arrests Made In Alfor Wheeler Shooting In Rayne

19-year-old Terrell Tmichael Lyons of New Orleans and 19-year-old Quincy Raheem Markee Mouton of Church Point face 2nd Degree Murder charges in the shooting death of 22-year-old Alfor Charles Wheeler of Rayne.

Rayne Police say, on Tuesday night, officers were called out to Reynolds Street after shots were heard. They then found Wheeler dead on Chappuis Street.

Lyons and Mouton each face bond of $250,000 for the 2nd Degree Murder charges. Mouton was also charged with 1 count of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. Bond on that charge was set at $50,000.

Both suspects sit in the Acadia Parish Jail. Police continue to investigate.
