Two Boats Stolen From Owner In St. Landry Parish

Authorities are looking for whoever stole a couple of boats earlier this week. St. Landry Sheriff's Deputies say it happened at 146 Plum Street in the Three Mile Lake area. The owner says the boats were parked in the boat dock on Sunday afternoon, but they were gone by Monday morning. The first boat is described as a 1973, 14 foot aluminum boat with a Nissan 6 horse power outboard motor, while the second is described as a 2002, 14 foot Alumacraft boat with a 4 horse power Johnson outboard motor. The two boats are worth over $6,000.
