Rayne Police have arrested two people believed to be responsible for recent burglaries. Police say they were investigating a domestic disturbance Monday which led them to Mitchell Romero. He was arrested for domestic battery, and when interviewed, he confessed to participating in several Rayne burglaries.  The same investigation led detectives to 17 year old Corey Soileaux, who is already in jail for prior burglary charges. He is suspected of stealing several firearms from an area home before Romero sold them to a local dealer.
