Two Crowley Men Arrested For Burglary

Early Sunday morning, an Acadia Parish Sheriff's Deputy was flagged down about a suspicious situation in the 19000 block of the Crowley-Eunice Highway.

The deputy detained two suspects, and along with officers from the Crowley Police Department started investigation the situation.

Police say 20-year-old Elmarkus Thomas and 29-year-old Shane Thomas, both from Crowley are accused of stealing automotive parts and accessories from a business on that roadway.

Both men were charged with burglary, while Shane Thomas was also charged with resisting an officer.
