Two Dead In Apparent Shooting Near Carencro
CARENCRO, La. (KPEL) -- Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies are investigating an apparent shooting that has left two people dead, according to KATC TV-3.
Police told the television station that two men were found at a home on Nanoke Lane near Carencro.
The men are 61- and 38-years-old are are related, KATC reported. Their identities are being withheld until their families can be notified.
"Preliminary information supports that one of the men died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and deputies are not actively pursuing any suspects in this case," KATC reported.
