Two Drug Arrests In St. Mary Parish

Police were patrolling the Morgan City area when they noticed a car run a stop sign. During the traffic stop, they obtained the consent from Michael Coon to search the car and found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a gun. Coon was arrested and sent to the parish jail without bail.

Another arrest stems from another traffic stop. Police noticed Robert McDaniel crossing the fog lines and pulled him over. They obtained a consent to search and found synthetic cannabinoids and paraphernalia. The police arrested McDaniel and he was transported to the parish jail without bail.
