Two From Breaux Bridge Arrested On Drug And Weapon Charges
Early Saturday morning narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office raided a home in the 1800 block of Rees St. in Breaux Bridge this morning and arrested two people on various drug charges.
Police arrested 29-year-old Ashley Dejean and 27-year-old Donald Derouselle, both of Breaux Bridge, after the two were found to be in possession of a substantial amount of Ecstasy, Alprazolam and Synthetic Cannabinoids. They also had a stolen handgun.
Both were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
Donald Derouselle was booked on the following charges:
- Possession Of Schedule I CDS (Synthetic Cannabinoids)
- Possession With Intent To Distribute Schedule II CDS (MDMA)
- Possession Of Schedule IV CDS (Alprazolam)
- Illegal Carrying Of Weapons While In Possession Of A CDS
- Illegal Possession Of Stolen Firearm
- Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia
- Driver Must Be Licensed
- Driving On The Right Side Of The Road
Ashley Dejean was booked on the following charges:
- Active Warrants For Theft
- Possession Of Schedule I CDS (Synthetic Cannabinoids)
- Possession Of Schedule IV CDS (Alprazolam)
- Illegal Carrying Of Weapons While In Possession Of A CDS
- Illegal Possession Of Stolen Firearm
- Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia
