Two Lafayette Area Businesses Help Flood Victims

Two local businesses are collecting much-needed items for those affected by Monday's torrential storms.

Ranch Outlet and Courtesy Ford Lincoln are acting as official drop off locations for the Disaster Relief Supply Drive.

"We are saddened by the effects of the recent flooding in our community," says Carrol Castille, owner of Ranch Outlet. "Our thoughts go out to each and every family who is in need at this time."

The businesses say things such as cleaning supplies, items for personal hygiene, and first aid kits are in high demand. They say donations will be given to provide "temporary relief to disaster victims in the Carencro area."

Ranch Outlet is located at 3324 NE Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette. Courtesy Lincoln Ford is located at 2022T Rees Street in Breaux Bridge. Donations will be taken until March 31.
